PRINTSNIP GUIDE
Compress a photo or signature to under 20 KB
20 KB is a common limit for signatures and some photo uploads. To reach it, the photo also needs a small pixel size. PrintSnip does both and checks the result.
Open the tool Create a free account

How to use it
- Open Make My File Fit and choose your photo or signature.
- Type 20 in the KB limit and enter the width and height from the form.
- Press Make it fit; the best quality under 20 KB is chosen automatically.
- Check the size and preview, then download.
Good to know
- At 20 KB, keep the pixel size small (for example around 200 × 230 for photos) for a clear result.
- For signatures, the Signature maker cleans the paper to white first, which saves space.
- Photo and PDF edits run on your device. Only the PDF password and signing tools send the file to the server, where it is processed and deleted straight away.
Privacy and saving
Photo and document edits are processed on your device. Account information is stored on the server. Adding or removing PDF passwords and signing PDFs use temporary server processing, and files are deleted immediately. Print-shop orders use temporary encrypted storage. Read the Privacy Notice before sharing sensitive files.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my photo still blurry?
The pixel size is probably too large for 20 KB. Use the smaller dimensions the form asks for.
Can I go under 10 KB?
Yes, type 10 as the limit; keep the size small.
JPG or PNG?
JPG reaches small sizes much more easily.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes.
