Connect devices and send original files

Connect Devices helps move photos and files between phones, tablets and computers. Keep the sender and receiver pages open while connecting and transferring. The public guide explains the flow; the existing QR recipient page remains available without a recipient account.

How to use it

Sign in on the device starting the workflow, open Connect Devices, and create a connection QR.
Scan the QR with the other device or open the connection link. Wait for the connected status on both screens.
Select files and send them. Keep both browsers open until completion; transfer does not intentionally compress the original files.
On the receiving device, choose where to save the received file. Use Disconnect when finished.

What to check before saving

Network rules, mobile browser suspension and relay availability affect connections. Same Wi-Fi alone does not guarantee a connection.
Direct device transfer and Print Shop sharing are different. Print Shop links upload encrypted file bytes to temporary server storage.
Anyone receiving a permitted download can keep a copy. Expiring a link cannot erase saved copies or prevent screenshots.

Privacy and saving

Supported photo and document edits are processed on your device. Account and service information uses the server. Print-shop sharing uses temporary encrypted server storage. Storage and sharing behaviour depend on the feature you choose; read the Privacy Notice before sharing sensitive files.

Common questions

Does the receiving phone need to sign in?

The existing QR/link recipient flow does not require a recipient account. Keep the connection link private.

Will it work over mobile data?

It depends on connectivity and the configured relay. If it fails, keep both pages open, use a fresh connection link and read the displayed error.
