Remove the password from a PDF

Bank statements, salary slips and downloaded certificates often come with a password. If you know it, PrintSnip saves a copy without the password so it is easier to upload or print.

How to use it

  1. Open PDF tools → Protect & unlock → Remove password.
  2. Choose the PDF.
  3. Type the password you were given.
  4. Download the unlocked copy.

Privacy and saving

Photo and document edits are processed on your device. Account information is stored on the server. Adding or removing PDF passwords and signing PDFs use temporary server processing, and files are deleted immediately. Print-shop orders use temporary encrypted storage. Read the Privacy Notice before sharing sensitive files.

I forgot the password. Can you open it?

No. Only the correct password can open a protected PDF.

Is the unlocked file stored?

No. It is deleted right after processing.

Will the quality change?

No. Pages stay exactly the same.

Can I add a new password?
