How to use it
- Open PDF tools → Protect & unlock → Add password.
- Choose your PDF.
- Type a password twice and choose whether printing is allowed.
- Download the protected PDF and share the password separately.
Good to know
- Keep the password safe; it cannot be recovered.
- The file is sent over HTTPS for processing and deleted immediately; it is not stored.
- Already protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
Privacy and saving
Photo and document edits are processed on your device. Account information is stored on the server. Adding or removing PDF passwords and signing PDFs use temporary server processing, and files are deleted immediately. Print-shop orders use temporary encrypted storage. Read the Privacy Notice before sharing sensitive files.

PDFs are encrypted with AES-256.
Can I remove the password later?
Yes, with Remove password, if you know it.
Is my file stored?
No. It is deleted right after processing.
Can I block printing?
Yes, untick “Allow printing”.
