How to use it
- Open Photo editor → Blur background and choose a photo.
- The person is detected automatically on your device.
- Choose a style — Portrait, Creamy, Dreamy glow, Colour pop, Motion or Studio colour — and set the blur strength.
- Use Compare, and the Keep sharp / Blur brushes for touch-ups, then save.
Good to know
- Fine hair and see-through objects can blur slightly at the edges.
- Group photos work best when people are at a similar distance.
- Photo and PDF edits run on your device. Only the PDF password and signing tools send the file to the server, where it is processed and deleted straight away.
Privacy and saving
Photo and document edits are processed on your device. Account information is stored on the server. Adding or removing PDF passwords and signing PDFs use temporary server processing, and files are deleted immediately. Print-shop orders use temporary encrypted storage. Read the Privacy Notice before sharing sensitive files.

Does it work with group photos?
Yes. Everyone detected as a person stays sharp.
Will my original change?
No. You save a new copy.
Can I remove the background instead?
Yes, in the Remove background tab of the same page.
Does it need the internet?
Only to open the page; the blur itself runs on your device.
