Trouble connecting?
- Same Wi-Fi works best and is fastest.
- No shared Wi-Fi? Turn on one phone’s hotspot and join it from the other device. This works even without internet once the page is open.
- Different networks (for example mobile data on one side) usually connect too. Some mobile networks block direct connections; the hotspot tip fixes that, or add a relay server below.
- Keep both screens on and Printsnip open until the transfer finishes.
A relay only forwards encrypted data when a direct path is impossible. It cannot read your files and nothing is stored. Leave empty to connect directly only.
The codes only help the devices find each other. Your files go device to device.
